On January 29th, 2013 Boston designer Daniela Corte debuted her leggings to LA tastemakers. Hosted by Los Angeles Confidential at the W Los Angeles-Westwood, the leggings event and celebration of the campaign “one for all. all for one. and all you,” offered Angelenos a first look at the collection of leggings. Creative director Ricardo Rodriguez was also in attendance to help celebrate the launch.
Daniela Corte’s leggings bar, features five different styles of leggings and will be available exclusively at Jill Roberts boutiques. The leggings are composed of the finest stretch knit which are designed to hold shape and color. Contour sare carefully selected, which enhance the length of the leg and create a strong vertical line. Leggings styles include the Nolita leggings ($225 retail) in six colors, as well as the Nolita eco-leather leggings ($235 retail), also in six colors. Both are as comfortable as sweats, but look polished and elegant. Corte has designed the leggings to be perfect for all ages, shapes and styles.
Daniela Corte was founded in 2000, and enjoys an ardent following among busy, discerning lovers of great personal style. As principal designer, Daniela Corte guides her collections with her expert eye and unyielding, impeccable taste. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, South America’s fashion capital, her father, a menswear designer introduced her to her first bolt of silk when she was six, and she was hooked for life.
After training in the family business, graduating from The School of Fashion Design – Boston, and working with several well-known Boston designers, Corte brought her timeless designs to Newbury Street by opening the doors to her retail store in 2011. She definitely has the leg up on the fashion scene and what women want!
