Clos du Bois Chic Picnique by Tracy Reese

Designer Tracy Reese and The Style Goddess

On Tuesday, March 13 I had the honor of celebrating designer Tracy Reese and Clos du Bois’s winery collaboration on spring’s newest accessory, Clos du Bois Chic Picnique by Tracy Reese.  Held at The Viceroy in Santa Monica on the Whist patio, the setting was perfect for an event filled with friends, tasty treats and sunshine!

Clos du Bois Chic Picnique by Tracy Reese and contents

Offering a sophisticated spin on the traditional picnic basket, the Clos du Bois Chic Picnique by Tracy Reese joins the best of fashion and wine with a chic and functional basket, creating the perfect al fresco dining accessory.   Featuring the iconic Tracy Reese print, “Summer Bloom,” the basket features a bright floral burst pattern and is complete with matching napkins, reusable and portable wine glasses and wine accessories, including a corkscrew, bottle stopper, Clos du Bois North Coast Chardonnay and Clos du Bois North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon.

I love that Tracy is very down to earth, approachable and friendly! She made the rounds on the patio meeting and greeting all the attendees in top class fashion. Noticing that her collection and the print she chose for the picnic basket all have a pop of color, I asked what color means to her and her reply was, “Color is life!” I couldn’t agree with her more and that pretty much sums up why I wear it consistently!

Celebrity friends including Emma Roberts, Mena Suvari, Kate Mara and Busy Philipps along with guests sipped Clos du Bois wines, munched on picnic bites and basked poolside in the Santa Monica sun. Others lounged in the intimate cabanas decked with Clos du Bois Chic Picnique by Tracy Reese baskets and beautiful florals, which perfectly reflected Tracy ’s summer bloom print.  Clos du Bois North Coast Chardonnay, North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon, California Pinot Noir and North Cast Merlot were served with Top Chef Chris Crary’s picnic menu including mini fried chicken sandwiches, mini roasted vegetable paninis, burrata and fig crostinis, lemongrass shrimp skewers and more.
