On Thursday, Oct 13 GUESS by Marciano debuted the highly-anticipated 2011 Holiday Collection with an exclusive cocktail party co-hosted by VOGUE.  Young Hollywood elite and style impresarios were treated to drinks, treats, and poolside fashion presentations throughout the evening  at Mr. C Hotel in Beverly Hills with music by DJ Michelle Pesce and a special performance by synchronized swimming troupe, The Aqualilies.

The latest retro-inspired GUESS by Marciano collection captivates with high-glamour evening wear and versatile separates juxtaposed with effortlessly chic classic denim pieces.  The rich indigo blue and red, black and winter white tones of the gowns and mid-length pencil dresses dazzle with sequin and lace accents. The romantic sheer ruffled blouses and suit separates in warmer earth hues complete the ultimate day to night look for the fashion-conscious professional woman when paired with cigarette-cut jeans and patent leather pumps.  Faux fur and sequin embellishments, animal prints and bold, asymmetrical cuts dominated the poolside runway at the event.

It was an honor to have co-founder and GUESS Chairman Maurice Marciano there, meeting and greeting many in the crowd and posing for the cameras.  Carmen Electra, Tamala Jones,  Aimee Teegarden and some of the cast members of Dirty Soap were in attendance as well.  I had a chance to grab a photo with the cast which included Nadia Bjorlin, Brandon Beemer, Galen and Jenna Gering.  Overall, I had a fun time and saw many that possessed the GUESS essence just by their presence.
